The quickest trains in either case take just overtwo hours and the single fare is 8/9id. From either station Dunford House can be reached by thefootpath to Heyshott in 20 minutes. The distance by road istwo miles. Taxis to meet trains can be ordered from Sweet,Spread Eagle Hotel, Midhurst (fare 4/-). A sketch map isgiven overleaf. All requests for accommodation should be made to theSecretary, London School of Economics and PoliticalScience, Clare Market, London, W.C.2. The admissionof any visitor, whether belonging to the School or not, is inthe discretion of the School authorities. A special Com-mittee, including representatives of the staff and of theStudents Union, has been appointed to deal with questions asto Dunford House.

The Library was established by public subscription in 1896, forthe free use of persons engaged in pubhc administration, nationaland municipal, and of students of economics and pohtical science.It comprises some 500,000 items, including :— (a) General works of reference, British and foreign. (b) Standard works, British and foreign, on economics andpolitical science, including commerce and industry. (c) A bibliographical section. This contains the catalogues of alarge number of libraries (both general and special), readersguides, general and subject bibliographies and reading lists. Also alarge number of special bibliographies and lists of referencesprepared by the lecturers, Hbrary staff and students of the school.These are being constantly added to. (d) A collection of some 200,000 pamphlets and similar materialsfor research, all classified in accordance with the general scheme. (e) British
