SCHOOL OF RELIGIOUS EDUCATION 19 I. BIBLICAL HISTORY AND LITERATURE 1. New Testament History and Religion. An historical survey covering practi-cally the entire range of New Testament literature, and intended as a pre-requisiteto all further New Testament study. It will consist of a broad outline study of thelife of Christ, a study of the organization and spread of the early Christian church,a survey of the life and work of Paul, and a free reading of all the Pauline and non-Pauline Epistles. Required of all first-year students, and of all candidates fordegrees who have not had its equivalent. Three hours, first semester. Professor Warmingham. 2. Old Testament History and Religion. A survey course covering the historyand literature of the Hebrew people from the very earliest times, through the periodof the Restoration.
