Pour la determination des resistances specifiqnes ou des resistivites des eaux minerales, je me suiş servi de la methode des courants alternatifs, indiqu^e par Kohlrausch, adoptant un dispositif special en vue de la mesure de ces resis- tances. Cette methode est tres-enpdditive et elle a hth tres-em- ploy^e dans un g-rand nombre des recherches de conductibilit^s electriques. surtout en AUemagne. Je citerai, entre autres, Ies noms des savants tres connus telsque Swante Arhenius, Oswald, Nernst qui ont utilis^ cette methode dans diverses recherches. Je rappele ici le principe de cette methode. Dans la branche A B du parallelog-ramme A B C D (fig*. i) on introduit le liquide electrolytique, dont on cherche Ia resistivite; dans la branche B C une r^sistance connue prise sur una boite â resistances; enfin,les branches A D et D C sont deux resistances connues. Dans l'une ^ des diagonales du parallelogram- me, la diagonale B D par exem- ple, on intercalle une pitite bo- bine d'induction E, dont l'inter- ropteur vibre tr^s-rapidement ; dans la seconde diagonale A C, ie t-l:phone T. Soit K la ri'^sis- tance '-lectrique de IVrlectrolyte. a la ff^sistance sans self-induction 'I • la branche Ij C, h et c des r<4sistances lin«^aires des branches A D et DC.
