,-.-.V X ur Schema B Figures theoriques representant la derivation des valves. V, V =^ Ies Idvres des ostia. Conclusions i) Le coeur de toutes Ies Arthropodes est un organe unitaire, c'est-â-dire non divise en chambres cardiaques. 2) Sur le trajet du coeur apparaissent, selon Ies necessites, des formations mecaniques (ostia, valves) dont le nombre et la dispo- sition varient. Les valves separent la portion contractile du coeur de la portion qui ne se contracte pas. 3) La forme primitive du coeur des Arthropodes est celle d'un tube avec un grand nombre d'ostia segmentaires. Deux processus s'accomplissent sur cette forme le processus de reduction des ostia (ostia rudimentaires) et le processus de con- centration. Cest grâce â ces deux processus qu'on obtient comme forme d^riv6e le coeur sacciforme. 4) L'absence du coeur chez les Arthropodes est un pheno- mane secondaire.
