BULETINUL SOCIETĂŢII DE SCIINŢE 597 Nach dieser Analyse liegt ein wasserhaltiger Kalkthonsilicat vor, etwa von der Formei 4 Si02 2 A1203 (Fe2) 3 Ca(Mg)0 2 H20. Was charakteristisch fiir dieses Mineral ist, ist das Verhăltniss der Kieselsăure zum Wasser == 2:1, was keinem bekannten wasser- haltigen Kalkthonsilicat entspricht; auch nach seinen optischen Eigenschaften ist es unmoglich dasselbe mit einem der bekannten Mineralien zu identificieren. Es diirfte somit ein neues Mineral vor- liegen, welches nach seinem Vorkommen im Lotruthal als Lotrit bezeichnet werden mag. Ausser den Epidot-, Zoisit- und Lotritfelsen findet man am Contact des Serpentins in Parîngu auch granatfuhrende Gesteine. Das eine Vorkommniss ist am zweiten Serpentinfels nordlich von der Curmătura TziganuluY (Fig. 7). Dort sieht man wie ein Keil von C'iloritschiefern von der Serpentinmasse umfasst wurde. Der Chloritschiefer wird reich an Epidot, zum Theil zu eigentlichen Epidothornfels, und man sieht im ganzen Gestein Korner und Adern von einem blassrothen Granat, grosse Flecken von griin- lichem Pyroxen und Nester oder Adern vom griiner Klinochlor. Die granatfuhrende Zone ist 20—30 cm. breit.
