BULETINUL SOCIETĂŢII DE ŞTIINŢE 393 tecul pus in prezenţă într'un balon cu refrigerent şi încălzit până la fierbere mai multe ceasuri (14 ore), lichidul clar la început, după i1 j ore de fierbere începe să se turbure în urmă îşi schimbă co- loarea devenind brun închis cu eflorescentă verzuie, apoi încetul cu încetul să separă la suprafaţa lichidului globule uleioase de co- loare galbenă şi de mărime variabilă. In aceste globule, dacă se lasă lichidul la o temperatură joasă, timp de 48 ore, se observă nişte cristale lungi aciculare insolubile în apăţ alcohol, eter, etc. Lichidul se filtrează la trompă, iar cristalele obţinute se pot spăla cu eter direct pe filtru, se recristalizează din acid acetic gla- cial fierbinte din care imediat se obţin cristale prismatice sublima- bile. având punctul de topire 1980—200°. Apele mume se tratează tot în aceleaşi condiţiuni şi cu aceeaş proporţie de alcool metilic şi acid sulfuric şi apoi se lasă să se răcească. După 48 ore de ră- cire găsim din nou cristale, acestea după filtrare şi spălare cu eter se prezintă sub forma de lamele de diferite mărimi insolubile în al- cool, eter, acid sulfuric, etc, greu solubile în acid acetic glacial la cald. din care prin răcire cristalizează ca şi primele sub forma aciculară, având acelaş punct de topire. Analiza a dat următoarele rezultate : o. 1 222 gr. substanţă a dat 0.4001 gr. CO2 şi 0.0944 gr. H20.
