Summary[edit]

Description
English: Turos is a species of ziganids still abundant in the coastal waters of Bulusan. Prized for its taste and a favorite of the locals, it can give the local fishermen and their family subtantial income during the 'turos' season. The 'bobo' trap seems to be species specific in its design, that is for catching the 'turos' and its relatives such as 'balawis' and 'bungdo'. Bulusan, Sorsogon, Philippines
