This landmark restaurant dating back to the 1850s was previously located a short distance from this building, but was moved to this building after the original building was badly damaged in Hurricane Georges in 1998. Moderate damage from Isidore in 2002 shown. This building along with all others in the surrounding section were smashed to pieces in Hurricane Katrina, 2005. |
