Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Bronze age and 20th century relics on Ibsley Common, New Forest. An evening view of the Ibsley Common plateau. In the immediate foreground is what looks like an anchor point for a radar installation that was built on the common during the Second World War (associated with RAF Ibsley in the valley below). In the middle of the photo, where the new bracken is growing, is a very low profile Bronze Age bowl barrow. Its low mound is only really noticeable because of the different vegetation cover.
