Title
Bronze Age : Axe blade fragment
Description
English: A cast copper alloy fragment, possibly part of a Bronze Age object such as an axe. The fragment is highly corroded, with the similar light green patina to that usually found on Bronze Age objects. The form is irregular, with a flattened, oval section. The object tapers from 8.66mm thick at one edge to 6.09mm at the opposite edge. A squarish void in the thickest edge may be the remains of a casting socket.
