But the bees were, as usual, very particular little crea- tures, and were dissatisfied with their new home. Whilst at dinner a boy breath- lessly informed me that " the school bees are going over the gasworks! " I cycled to the gasworks, sent scouts in every direction, but our bees were never traced.
