Horse-drawn tram used on the Brinore Tramway

Summary[edit]

Description
English: Horse-drawn tram on display at Talybont-on-Usk used on the 13 kilometre narrow-gauge Brinore Tramway (opened 1814, closed 1865). The tramway linked the limestone quarries at Trefil with the town of Talybont-on-Usk. Unlike modern railway systems, the rails were flanged rather then the wheels.
Cymraeg: Tram wedi'i dynnu gan geffylau yn cael ei arddangos yn Tal-y-bont ar Wysg a ddefnyddir ar Tramffordd Bryn Oer mesurydd cul 13 cilometr (agorwyd 1814, caewyd 1865). Roedd y dramffordd yn cysylltu'r chwareli calchfaen yn Trefil â thref Tal-y-bont ar Wysg. Yn wahanol i systemau rheilffordd modern, roedd y rheiliau bob ochr yn hytrach na'r olwynion.
