English: A wooden structure is dilapidated and has holes in its roof. Brinegar Cabin - Doughton Park. The Brinegar Cabin and associated buildings were constructed in the late 1880s. When the Blue Ridge Parkway was completed through the area in 1937, the Works Progress Administration undertook many park development projects. One of these was the restoration of features on the Brinegar Cabin landscape, which became an important interpretive site.
