Summary[edit]

Description
English: The thing I love the most about New York (aside from being able to walk to everything I need) is its sense of constantly evolving history. With the exception of the ugly condos springing up, nothing seems to have been created in a vacuum (unlike the development two pictures up). There are some really, really old things here. And chances are, they sit next door to something built last year. Possibly because I am an atheist, I find this sense of continuity really comforting.
