Português: Brasão de autoria do artista Keith Dalmon Ferreira - ganhador de concurso público para confecção do mesmo. Na época com apenas 19 anos, o artista já se destacava na cidade e região pelo seu trabalho e talento para desenhos, pinturas e esculturas.

LEI N° 205/96 Em 27 de agosto de 1996 "Oficializa o Brasão do Município de Pirenópolis, símbolo das riquezas, das tradições, da sua fé e da esperança de seu povo, e dá outras providências".

A CÂMARA MUNICIPAL DE PIRENÓPOLIS aprovou e eu Prefeito municipal, sanciono a seguinte Lei:

Art. 1° - Fica instituído o "BRASÃO OFICIAL" do Município de Pirenópolis, que a partir desta data, torna-se oficial para todos os documentos Públicos Municipais.

Art. 2° - O "BRASÃO" de que trata esta lei, é formado pelos símbolos representativos do município, composto de: I - A FÉ de seu povo, representada pela pomba e pela coroa, simbolizando o Divino Espírito Santo, pela Igreja Matriz e pela cruz, expondo o domínio católico na colonização;

II - As tradições mostradas pelos cavaleiros das cavalhadas, pelas máscaras artesanais e pelos instrumentos da banda de couro;

III - A história da fundação, mostrada pelo Rio das Almas, pelo ciclo do ouro e pela Serra dos Pireneus, relevo a que a cidade deve o seu nome atual;

IV - A modernidade está representada pelo ciclo do turismo e pela exploração das pedras de quartzito;

V - O conjunto é contornado por um ramalhete de Allamanda Apollyana, flor originária da região e seu símbolo popular;

Art. 3° - As cores, o desenho artístico e o Memorial Descritivo de autoria do artista KEITH DALMON FERREIRA, vencedor do Concurso Público n° 001/96, ficam fazendo parte integrante desta lei.

Art. 4° - Esta Lei entra em vigor na data de sua publicação, revogadas as disposições em contrário.

English: Coat of arms authored by the artist Keith Dalmon Ferreira - winner of a public tender for its manufacture. At the age of just 19, the artist already stood out in the city and region for his work and talent for drawings, paintings and sculptures.

LAW No. 205/96 On August 27, 1996 "Makes the Coat of Arms of the Municipality of Pirenópolis official, a symbol of riches, traditions, its faith and the hope of its people, and makes other provisions".

The TOWN HALL OF PIRENÓPOLIS approved and I, Mayor, sanction the following Law:

Art. 1st - The "OFFICIAL COAT OF ARMS" of the Municipality of Pirenópolis is established, which from this date becomes official for all Municipal Public documents.

Art. 2 - The "COAT OF ARMS" referred to in this law, is formed by the representative symbols of the municipality, composed of: I - THE FAITH of its people, represented by the dove and the crown, symbolizing the Divine Holy Spirit, by the Mother Church and by the cross, exposing the Catholic domain in colonization;

II - The traditions shown by the knights of the cavalhadas, by the handmade masks and by the instruments of the leather band;

III - The history of the foundation, shown by the Rio das Almas, the gold cycle and the Serra dos Pireneus, relief to which the city owes its current name;

IV - Modernity is represented by the cycle of tourism and the exploitation of quartzite stones;

V - The set is surrounded by a bouquet of Allamanda Apollyana, a flower native to the region and its popular symbol;

Art. 3 - The colors, the artistic design and the Descriptive Memorandum authored by the artist KEITH DALMON FERREIRA, winner of Public Contest No. 001/96, become an integral part of this law.

Art. 4° - This Law enters into force on the date of its publication, revoking the provisions to the contrary.
