Description

Silver-tinted postcard of Bradford Cathedral in an earlier form as St Peter's, Bradford Parish Church, on Stott Hill, Bradford, West Yorkshire, England. This was a 15th-century church of which the west tower and north aisle, and much of the nave and original chancel remain. The south aisle, its clerestory and porch were remodelled in the 19th century, when the transepts were added.

This image shows the building before architect Sir Edward Maufe extended it to the east and to the north of the west tower. (Information from Historic England listing 1133250)

Postcard is unused and has a divided back. It is from the studio of Delittle, Fenwick & Co of York, who published postcards between 1902 and 1914.
