Français : Lettre d'un membre de l'état-major, pour le Rhône affranchie à 20F (surtaxe aérienne 20F/5g tarif du 25/7/42), oblitérée cachet bleu "POSTE AUX ARMEES / *" (POSTE aux singulier) 12/7/45 avec un "4" fermé de type américain avec censure militaire au départ.

LE B.P.M. 181 5 JUIN 1945 :

Un B.P.M. (N° 181) est créé et en cours de formation à la 1ère Brigade Coloniale d'Extrême-Orient à Moramanga à Madagascar.

Il quittera Madagascar le 26/11/45 pour Sài-Gòn.

Il utilise un cachet «POSTE AUX ARMEES / ★ N°181 ★» apposé en bleu, parfois sur des timbres malgaches, avec griffe «SECTEUR POSTAL N°181» sur l'étiquette de recommandation et des cachets muets «POSTES AUX ARMEES / ★ » («postes» au pluriel) et «POSTE AUX ARMEES / ★ » («poste» au singulier). Le chiffre "4" de "45" est toujours fermé au type américain.

La bande de censure est «CONTROLE POSTAL MILITAIRE» entre deux doubles lignes d'épaisseur différente et le cachet ovale à angles pointus «OUVERT / L'AUTORITE MILITAIRE // PAR ».
