English: This red-figure lekythos depicts a woman at a fountain. Shown in profile, she bends over slightly at the waist to the right, both arms extended toward a large hydria which rests on the ground in front. Water pours into the hydria from a spout on the upper right. She wears a chiton, disc earring, and fillet.
Date between circa 480 and circa 470 BC (Classical)
