Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Boundary of Cheriton Wood. These woods were the location for preliminary skirmishes during the Battle of Cheriton in 1644. The fighting in the woods was confused by the fact that both sides in the wood had chosen to wear white identification tokens in their caps and used the same battle cry 'God With Us'.
