  • Even if the sites both tell is by Giuseppe De Nittis, not having some other things to back it up, like provenance and exhibitons or a catalogue raisonnè, I will still be doubtful about his authenticity.
  • Also only to me his signature seems a bit sketchy?
  • Also De Nitts rarely painted on wood (if not never).
