Borne située le long de la route nationale 149, France, à la frontière des départements des Deux-Sèvres et de la Vienne. Sur la face avant (sud), elle porte:

  • une inscription aux caractères encrés :
    • (dans un cadre) D[épartemen]t des 2 Sèvres/D[épartemen]t de la Vienne
    • Route nationale 149 (originellement, 148 bis avec des parties non encrées quand la route a été renumérotée 149)
    • de Poitiers à Nantes
  • un médaillon du nivellement général portant l'altitude 169m15.
