This is known as the State Entrance,which will be used by the President, StateOfficials, Members of Congress, representa-tives of Foreign Nations and their attaches.Appropriate inscriptions will appear in thelarge panels over the doorways of the main Photograph B is another view of thesoutheast corner of the station lookingnorthwest, showing the ground plan morefully, and including the general view ofthe grand steel arch construction over theconcourse. Photograph C shows the east end ofthe concourse looking southwest. Fromit can be obtained an excellent idea of themassive steel work in the roof over theconcourse, which is TtiO feet long and 130feet wide, of one single span. No effort will be madeto decorate the floor by colored mosaic andit will probably contain no decorationsexcept the lines forminfi; the necessary con-struction joints in a floor of this size.
