Notes Introduction to New Zealand; Information book about New Zealand compiled for US Service Personnel, WW2 "As stated in the foreword this book was produced for United States servicemen in New Zealand during the Second World War. It was printed in 1945 rather late for those Divisions that passed through New Zealand to "The Islands", but in time for any who passed through on their way back to the USA - and there were many more who were involved for a year or so after the war against Japan ended in August 1945, because so many bases had to be knocked down or sold and that took time." from H.J. Harrington (notes on cover)
