| Description |
English: Boats moored on the River Usk The west bank of the River Usk adjacent to the Transporter Bridge.
The road alongside the bank is Newport's Southern Distributor Road (A48). In the centre of the picture the top floors of one of the ward blocks of the Royal Gwent Hospital can be seen. Behind this, the red brick building with the chimney, is St Woolos Hospital. Both are in square ST3087. |
