English: This is a block diagram of a simplified Delta Sigma ADC.

Summary

This is a block diagram of a simplified Delta Sigma ADC and is my own work drawn using "Inkscape" a free svg editor. It was drawn to illustrate a description of the functioning of the so-called Delta Sigma ADC which appears in the overall article on Delta Sigma modulation. This description was first uploaded by me and has since been nit-picked by others but the general sense and much of the text remains much as I first wrote it. I say so-called Delta Sigma because being British I am used to interpreting the mathematical symbols for the process, ∑δ or ∑Δ to read sigma delta. This is

why sigma delta appears in the diagram. Given the amount of work undertaken by me I hope others will allow me my small foible.
