Description

Slovenščina: Sredi Blejskega jezera kraljuje Blejski otok. Na njem je bilo nekoč svetišče boginji ljubezni Živi, danes pa tam stoji veličastna gotska cerkev Matere Božje na jezeru. Omenja ga tudi največji slovenski pesnik France Prešeren v svoji v svoji pesnitvi Krst pri Savici.

English: In the middle of the Bled Lake is Bled Island. A challenge for your eye and your body awaits you on the island where a temple of the ancient Slavic goddess of love Živa used to stand in the location of today's glorious Gothic church. Many legends exist connected to the island. One is described in the masterpiece of the finest Slovene poet France Prešeren.
