This is about trances. Mental states of flow, when conscious thought yields to instinct. I tried to colour it with a neon/synthwave aesthetic, which is something I’ve been addicted to for years. That indulgent retro feel and the idea of an instinctual trance seem to go hand in hand for me. I shot and edited the video myself. From now on I’ll only be using visuals made by myself or by an artist I know/have spoken to. More fun, more artistic, more legal, haha.
