Description
English: SOVIET BLACKJACK BOMBER WITH ESCORTS The introduction of the BLACKJACK intercontinental bomber in the late 1980s made the third leg of the Soviet strategic triad far more robust. The BLACKJACK bomber could perform various missions, including nuclear strike, conventional attack, antiship strike, and reconnaissance. Two MiG-29 FULCRUMS escort this bomber.
