English: Black Rock This stone pillar marks the position of a shallow reef which is exposed at some states of the tide. It is a favourite basking ground for seals, one of which can be seen as the black speck to the right of the rocks in this picture. In the background, from right to left, are Pendennis Castle, Falmouth Coastguard Station and Little Dennis Blockhouse. |
