Description
Deutsch: 54634 Bitburg, Römermauer. Tiefbrunnenhaus der Brauerei Simon; zylindrischer Kalksandsteinbau, Flachkuppel mit Ringpultdach, 1936, Architekt Professor O. Bartmann, Darmstadt. Es erhebt sich über der 142 Meter tiefer gelegenen, schon um die Jahrhundertwende erschlossenen Quelle. Der zylindrische Baukörper aus Kalksandstein, dessen Flachkuppel 1991 erneuert wurde, wird von einem schlichten Portalvorbau aus rotem Sandstein erschlossen. Im Innern sind ein kleiner Springbrunnen und das schlichte Geländer der Erbauungszeit erhalten. Aufnahme von 2018.
