Summary[edit]

Description
English: Birch and alder scrub on Fenn's Moss When the peat on the moss was being cut the water table was lowered by drains being cut across the moss. This allowed birch and alder to grow. The long term aim for the management of the National Nature Reserve is the removal of the scrub and raising the water table by closing the drains.
