Description

During 2006 trip down coast I met a cyclist from Vancouver, BC; also his nice girlfriend. It wasn't hard to convince them to join me in the hot tub. We jumped into the hot tub after throwing our clothing together for a wash at the campground's Laundromat.

It was great, except the tub was not really that warm. Something was wrong with the filtering system. We had to move around in the water to stay warm.

Not what one normally expects in a hot tub.

Then we realized we had nothing to wear, but the skimpy swimsuits we had on.. Everything else was in the wash and the dryer was broken.

"Oh, oh, it's going to get cold."

There was one dryer that worked, but we had to wait till it was empty.

We moved around and chatted with others in the tub. Didn't shiver too much.

Soon the tub started to get warmer; they fixed the filtering system.

Also we eventually got our dry clothing, but it was a chilly run, from the hot tub to the laundry, several times, to make sure our clothing got into the dryer before someone else tied it up.

A fun memory.
