Summary

[edit]
Description
English: A bicycle rack, a bulletin board with a gabled roof, two miniaturized replicas of old-fashioned New York, New Haven and Hartford Railroad vehicles and some other items at the Hopewell Junction Central New England Railway Depot as seen from near the Maybrook Trailway in Hopewell Junction, New York. The depot originally served the Newburgh, Dutchess and Connecticut Railroad, the New York and New England Railroad and Dutchess County Railroad, and now is a former New Haven Railroad station, that serves as a museum and a trailhead for both the Maybrook Trailway and Dutchess Rail Trail. At the time this photo was taken, the museum was using a miniature wooden caboose as part of an attempt to raise money to have a real one mounted on the station property, but the miniaturized version of the New Haven Railroad steam locomotive and Central New England Railway tender didn't seem like it was being used for the same purpose.

This is an image of a place or building that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places in the United States of America. Its reference number is 100005449.
