Description

The Big Book: Voices of Our Future was a project between the Columbus Metropolitan Library and the Columbus Foundation to celebrate the foundation's 75th anniversary. Children and teens in grades 5-12 were encouraged to submit essays at all 23 branches of the library. Essays were to be about a goal for their future, a dream they have for their lives or a struggle they have overcome. One essay was picked from each location, artwork was created by artist Miles Balfour and the writing and art were brought together in one book.
