Action for damages inthe sum of $50,000 for death of Charles Crean, husband of plaintiff,in accident on the State Belt Railroad. By stipulation, cause droppedfrom calendar subject to restoration on notice. Thirty days subse-quent to restoration granted in which to plead. Pending. Yamate vs. Belt Line Railroad et al. No. 171442, Justices Court(now Municipal). Action for damages in the sum of $77.41, arisingout of a collision between State Belt Railroad train and automobilebelonging to plaintiff. Answers filed and case tried. Judgment fordefendants. Closed. Various opinions and advice, both oral and written, have beengiven the board with regard to matters arising in connection with theoperation of the State Belt Railroad.

Demurrers were filed. By consent,demurrers were dropped from calendar. Pending. Henry Coivell Lime & Cement Co. vs. Siaie of California et al.No. 55947, Superior Court. Action originally brought by plaintiff toenjoin defendants from interfering with plaintiffs building on acertain strip of land along the Embarcadero. Defendants filed cross-complaint setting up title to this strip of land, and action, therefore,involves question of title to the strip. Motion was made by defend-ants for judgment on the pleadings, which motion was subsequentlydenied. Negotiations are in progress between the Cowell Cement Com-pany and the board wi
