| Description |
English: Beverley Road railway station (site), Hull, Yorkshire Opened in 1885 by the Hull and Barnsley Railway on its line from Hull to Cudworth (it never reached Barnsley), this station closed in 1924. View north from the road, we would have been looking at the station forecourt. The original two-storey brick building was demolished in 1986 and replaced by housing. The railway embankment still runs behind the later building, marked by the line of trees. |
