Deutsch: Ehemaliges Geschäftshaus der Wiener Versicherung "Der Anker" in der Mohrenstraße 6, Ecke Glinkastraße (rechts), in Berlin-Mitte. Das Gebäude wurde 1910-1911 nach einem Entwurf der Architekten Adolf Zabel und Otto Paulini errichtet. Es zeigt eine für die Zeit typische Gliederung eines Geschäftshauses mit vermietbaren Läden im Erdgeschoss, den Geschäftsräumen in zwei Obergeschossen und einer Direktorenwohnung im Attikageschoss. Das Gebäude ist denkmalgeschützt.
English: Former commercial building of the Vienna insurance company "Der Anker" (The Anchor) at Mohrenstraße 6, corner of Glinkastraße (on the right) in Berlin-Mitte. The house was built 1910 to 1911 to a design by the architects Adolf Zabel and Otto Paulini. It has structure which is typical for commercial buildings of that time: rentable stores on the ground floor, offices in the two main stories and an apartment for managers in the attic story. The building is landmarked. |
