Description |
English: Watercolor drawing of a Ragwort study by Henri Bergé, signed and dated 1919. Produced as part of his work at the Daum factory's modeling and drawing school. This fruitful collaboration (which lasted almost 40 years, between 1893 and 1932) enabled Henri Bergé to produce numerous drawings in which nature is translated with scientific precision. These drawings were then used as models in Daum's decoration workshops and in the artistic education of apprentices. This drawing is an example of a much larger production that led to the creation of Henri Bergé's major work for the Daum factory, his Encyclopédie florale.
