Description
English: Small Benin bronze on display in Bedford Museum. The description states that it is an "idol of the god of sacrifice". N.B. The current (as of 2016) description in the Higgins Museum and Gallery calls this a "Brass Figure". It states that is was collected by Arthur W, Richardson (1893-1925) in Kalembelembe, D.R. Congo. It was purchased from the Pentecostal Missionary Union.
