Description
English: A cast copper alloy medieval belt mount. This mount has a circular central element 9.2mm in diameter from which two lobes protrude. The top lobe has a rivet hole within a circular terminal (the rivet is missing), whilst the bottom lobe tapers from the centre without a terminal. The reverse is hollow. The metal is worn and is of a dark greenish brown in colour. This object probably dates from the 14th - 15th century.
