Description
English: Copper alloy with gilding


Belt Mount. Cast rectangular plate with serrated long edges, bevelled ends, and a large central ring and dot flanked by two domed rivet heads of diameter 7.8mm. The display face is gilded. The rivets protrude onto the flat plain back where their shanks are 2.9mm in diameter. Suggested date: Late Roman, 200-350.


Length: 30mm, Width: 17.9mm, Thickness (plate): 1.9mm, Weight: 6.51gms.
