At work and at play the Turksmade every minute of their time dodouble duty. They applied them-selves diligently to learn everythingthey would need when they got home.They cemented relationships withmany Americans. The effect of thatgood will they have left behind willbe multiplied many fold in the future.They have done much to bring twofriendly republics closer together with increased mutual understanding andadmiration one for the other. At the end of the six months train-ing period our Turkish friends turnedtheir faces toward the East and home.They were filled with enthusiasm andhigh hopes for utilizing the experiencegained with Michigan Bell. Theywere fully cognizant of their countrysneeds for better communications, andwere restless to return and put intooperation all their plans and dreamsfor the future.
