Two days later, on November 9,1500 men and women of the Labora-tories, distinguished Army guests,newspaper and magazine reportersand photographers, and representa-tives from other Bell System com-panies who had assembled on theMurray Hill grounds saw these wea-pons in simulated action against tar-get planes.
