The results of this trial have beenvery encouraging, and the services arebeing continued permanently. Engle-wood customers have no difficulty indialing the proper codes to reach thedistant points. Nearly all the callswhich can be dialed are being dialed.While it may be some years before thisservice is made generally available,there will be other Englewoods as con-ditions permit. The Englewood testhas pointed the way for expanding thisservice. Setting up and carrying outthis trial shows that extensive coordi-nation is required to carry out thelong-range plans.
