Theengineering problems encountered are,obviously, extensive and varied. Basic Planning Long-range studies and basic plan-ning precede the engineering of spe-cific projects. In small scale operations or smallorganizations, it frequently happensthat specific engineering work is car-ried out without a formal master tn transyntssion with no blueprints or specifications oreven a street plan of the neighbor-hood. Nevertheless, such an under-taking, to be successful in the longrun, takes a lot of planning.
