Description
English: Fig. 1-Father: Normal head; no divergence.

Fig. 2-Mother; marked divergence; gross facial expression. Fig. 3 (Case 1)-Patient at age of 3. The father of these children died at the age of 38, after having been in an insane asylum for two years. Necropsy proved that he had general paresis. The Wassermann reaction of his spinal fluid was positive. From Figure 1 it is seen that his head was without marked change.

The mother died at the age of 30, probably from acute alcoholism. She was said to have had scars on her corneae, and Figure 2 shows that she had marked divergent strabismus with facial expression suggesting acromegaly.
