Waterton Lakes National Park (Q902778)
English: Originally named Mount Crandell Great Bear or Grizzly Medicine Mountain to honor the special bond between man and animal. The Bear's Hump symbolizes the muscular shoulder of grizzly bears. In many Native American cultures. Today it´s called Crandell Mountain. Why was it re-named after an oilman? It already had a name by the first Explorers, The Piikani Nation.
