English: Barrows and boundaries on Bronkham Hill In the foreground, veering right, is an old ditch and wall boundary. On the left are two of the many bronze-age round barrows on the ridge of Bronkham Hill. The larger one has a huge cleft in it, although it is not visible from this angle. In the far distance, to the left of the large barrow, is the tower of the Hardy Monument on Black Down. |
