| Description |
Knapp 85 Mio. Km³ Wasser werden hinter den Staumauern (Mooser- und Drossensperre) des oberen Staubeckens gespeichert, jedoch nicht nur zur Stromerzeugung, sondern auch als Trinkwasser-Reservoir. Der Mooserbodenspeicher ist der höchstgelegene der Kapruner Stauseen (2036m). Die Anreise allein ist schon ein kleines Abenteuer: Von Zell/See Richtung Kaprun und von dort über eine Serpentinenstraße bis zum Parkhaus beim Alpenhaus Kesselfall; dann zuerst mit dem Bus durch einige Tunnel, mit dem Lärchwand-Schrägaufzug den zweiten Teil und schließlich wieder mit dem Bus bis auf 2040m - der ganze Spaß für 16,- Euro.
