This is a picture of an archaeological site or a monument in Sweden, number 6ce8da5b-581b-4beb-9a39-3d344af6a748 in the RAÄ Fornsök database.

Description

Gravfält, 60x35 m, bestående av ca 15 fornlämningar. Dessa utgörs av

3 högar och 12 runda stensättningar. Högarna är7-10 m diameter och 0.5-1.2 m

höga. 1 är något oregelbunden till formen. 1 har grop i mitten, 3 m diamameter

och 0.6 m djup. De runda stensättningarna är 3-7 m diameter och 0.1-0.4 m höga

och Övertorvade. 1 har enstaka stenar synliga i ytan. 1 är oregelbunden till

formen. 2 har grop i mitten, 2-3 m diameter och 0.1-0.2 m djupa. 3 är kantskadade

av grustäkt. Södra delen av gravfältet är stört av grustäkt. Beväxt med tall. Terräng Krön av moränhöjd i flackt åkerlandskap. Betesmark. Enligt traditionen skall en förrymd nunna avlidit av en barnafödsel på platsen.

Hon skall därefter ha blivit bränd här. Rekommenderat namn Barbrohöjden.
